Looking back all the emails I have sent and received in my inbox, I feel so blessed to be at where I am standing now.

That email account was created for 'serious' stuffs i.e., scholarship and university applications. From seeking aids in filling application forms till receiving letters of confirmation, my heart went up and down. It was quite a thrilling ride.

"Thank you for your interest for taking the time to submit your application through our website."

"I have prepared the reference letter. All the best in your future endeavours."

"Thank you for your application. Our officer will study and bring it to management approval."

"We are pleased to inform you that you have been shortlisted for an interview."

i knew nothing about it until i checked the news feed on Facebook this morning.

it was indeed a truly shocking news for everyone of us.

he's always been so kind and nice to the people around him.

he has a lovely smile that never leaves his face.

i still remember the time when i first met him, at Ridzuan condo.

he's my friend's friend. and just because we all stayed in the same condo, we got quite close and spent time together especially dinner time.

we, a bunch of ridzuan-ians had fun together, we sang along at the poolside with him playing the guitar, we took funny photos in Sean's room, we talked loudly at aunty's stall during dinner time. those good memories.

i can also remember we chatted about me staying at his place when i got back to Malaysia.

sigh.

and i guess i had never seen him without his smile. he's just like an angel, encouraged and impacted lots of people around him, brought good testimonies, lived with God. he's really nice, or even better than just ''nice'', i have to say.

it's really sad for such a great loss. him and few of his family members.

but we should be glad that we knew him, called him a friend, and most importantly his whole family are Christians.

he was such a positive thinker and trusted God in all his life.

I am on Isle of Arran now, a Scottish island!
it's a beautiful, peaceful island with very nice sceneries and loads of geological stuffs
(if you love them): granite intrusions, dykes, vertical sills, Hutton's unconformities,
yellow, white, purplish sandstones, greenschists, basalt lava flow, volcanic tuffs,
collapsed caldera, Giganto Productus species....
our days were so packed and they were really tiring and challenging. I've learnt a lot though.

it started as usual today.
alarm rang, I snoozed it, procrastinated to waking up and finally forced myself to wake up as the breakfast time was near. I then looked out the window, oh yeah, the weather outside was really really bad. the wind was blowing at 77kph, can you imagine that?!!
it couldn't get any worse.

all of a sudden, the fire alarm was set off. hell yea, it's a bad bad day.
everyone went downstairs and was supposedly be evacuated from the hotel,
but apparently, we stayed in a waiting room because it was just too cold outside.
there wasn't anything about the fire alarm =.= so we all went for breakfast.

and here came the good news!
after some while, the lecturer came and told us to stay in the hotel for the morning for the weather is way too bad. the bus sent to fetch us was blown away by the wind and the bus company couldn't 'dig' another bus out of the snow. we jumped for joy!

King's Cave

the weather didn't get any better so we stayed in the hotel for the whole day and did some indoor exercise. it was rather dull.
but thanks to all the demonstrators, we had a 'dancing' presentation of geology of Arran in the evening. it was indeed very enjoyable and interesting! every group was given a topic, like Hutton's unconformity, dyke swarms, central ring complex or interbedded sandstone and mudstone, and required to present the topic in the form of dance (jazz-hands is a must! lol!) in one-two minutes. we did quite a good job, well, literally, everyone did well! it was a night full of fun! we then went down the bar to get some drink and chat around.
good day good day, despite the horrible weather.

the weather forecast said it will be windy with a little snow at times tomorrow.
we don't know how's the weather going to be like, what we are going to do,
but just hope that we can get back to Scotland on Thursday.
finger crossed that the weather won't be too bad so the ferry can still be able to bring us over to Scotland.

anyway, I really really enjoy this field trip even though it's tough at some point.
the knowledge we gained, the friendships we had just worth everything.

you know what?!

I actually helped a nanny to cross the road today!

this kind of stuff will only happen in text book, particularly Moral text book, isn't it?

and... wow! what an experience!

am really happy!

was a little bit shocked though. haha.

alright, let me tell you the story...

it was after my geology lecture, i walked along whiteladies road, wanting to meet up my friend.

and a very old nanny suddenly came to me and hold my hand.

I was like... what?? what are you doing?? (of course I didn't say that out)

''can you please walk me cross the road?''

she kind of like pulled me before I can say anything, ie. yes. (I will help her for sure. I'm a good boy. everyone knows that. XP)

the situation was like she walked me across instead of me doing that. LOL. as she was 'pulling' or holding me. haha!

so, yea.

I did a good deed! a thing that I will not have done in malaysia. a really practical stuff!

I made apple crumble tonight too!

have never tried that before, but it turned up to be good. yummy! love it!

my flatmate asked why did I suddenly want to make that.

I don't know... just felt like making it! haha.

It was so nice to be eaten with cornish ice cream

after a delicious dinner of pork steak, potatoes & salad! good good good!

yea, those were my little stories of the day!

oh yeah~

my exam is finally over! horray!

felt so relieved now although it was only a 2-day exam and two 1-hour papers, one 2-hour paper and all MCQ. lol! spent a loooot (really?) of time revising.

havent been taking exams since dec08. quite a long time away from the-scary-thing huh?

i was really really happy after finishing my geology paper on friday. such a HUGE relief. but not as excited after the two papers just now (still quite happy though), probably because i'm too tired? (evidence: two pimples on my forehead, another one right in the middle of my nose!!! gerrrggg...)

went shopping and walked around (increased my tiredness) after the exams in the afternoon before watching Avatar with my flatmates.

Avatar was really good. but not as impressive as 2012.

[after 2012] : WOW! unbelievable! amazing!

[after Avatar] : yeah, not bad not bad!

see the difference? haha.

i would rather say it's more to emotional bit and pretty touching, in the way the 'blue monkeys' protect their own land and how human (those smart scientists who actually THINK) give their helping hand and how the two main characters share love.

and the song [I See You] by Leona Lewis is unquestionably lovely!

oh ya, i've watched another movie recently too! (spent too much on movie this month. tsktsktsk)

Sherlock Holmes! the action part was interesting. the detective was brilliant in observing things around. was really amazed!!

anyway, today is my one-day holiday (ONLY) after exam. have to treasure it!

will clear up all my mails (flooded with facebook notifications >.<), upload some pictures, tidy my room, do my laptop stuff (so glad to get it back!) and........play with my new toy!!! yea....thanks to my daddy mummy! muacks!

most importantly, get some real good rest. I need to be energetic for the brand new term starting on Monday!

by the way, snow is beautiful. it's white. and pure. (not to mention the melted part. lol)

Hi there!

Had been staying in Bristol for a week. everything seems to be okay for the moment (hope this continues) =p

I live in Northwell House, which is 25-minute walk away from the uni, I really can't bear with it initially, but what can I do? adapt.

Walking is becoming part of my life. I will have fit legs after one year, I reckon.

plus... Bristol is so hilly, hills are everywhere and you need to climb up and down those hills everyday. can you imagine? >.<

There are 7 guys in my flat, including myself. They are all nice ^^

Started my lectures today. It was quite fun studying and listening to lecturers again after 10-month period of not-touching-books!

I am lucky enough to be a geology student, which I get to study in Wills Memorial Building, one of the landmark of Bristol.

It is such a good experience to get into uni to study and make friends.

Hope all the freshers can enjoy their uni life!

my life was just too smooth
everything was just so great for me
there wasnt any failure

i was experiencing too much "ups"

i firmly understand that God will never give a test which is over our limit

today.i woke up late cz stayed up till 0130am last nite to make a "poster" of d PK btwn me n miggie which is held in sunway pyramid redbox 2day.swt~

tis is our product^^

i noe d words r too small.dun read then.haha XD

ok.continue my story jz nw.
i turned off my alarm when it rang n continued 2 slp.hiakhiak.but i managed 2 wake up n fortunately i was not late for sch.

in sch.had classes like usual.

studied.talked.ate.had swt "conSERVAtion" wf fansHuss.laughed.walked.wadever.

.BUT.one thing which made me so memalukan & mempaisehkan & mensiasoikan happened during phy lesson.

..i fell down frm my chair..

haha.thx for my bloved classmates esp JOSHUA KAY for laughing at me @.@

after eng class.i rushed to d office cz d assist prog director wanna gv me some doc.but she was not ther when i arrived.waited n waited.

finally i walked into prog director's office 2 ask bout her n d doc.luckily it was wf another student who was oso in d office at tat time.i dunno wad s exactly happening.but i jz took tat doc (photostated mid yr result slip) n ciao!

i ran (act walked wf a higher speed than normal XP) to the idp education counselling centre to make some applications for aust uni.but i only managed to apply for one uni.UWA.cz i nd 2 catch up d 1430 bus (i finished my class at 1400) to pyramid 2 cheong k as i mentioned earlier.

me.potato.miggie.zanggih took d bus.we went directly to redbox.

i dunno whether halloween is coming (but i m sure tat deepavali *miggie's festival* s jz around d corner).

d redbox is decorated like a ruined site wf big spiders.spider web.the dead.eyeballs n all those "scary" thingy.

waited for joash n sean for bout 5mins n we decided to go in d room 1st since they r not ther yet.

sang.played.swt-ed.haha.

then joash came.

then sean came.

then d so-called "ghost" came.potato s afraid of those sort of things.so we purposely asked "it" to sit bside her.took some photos.here is one.

had a lot of fun in redbox.sang many songs.enjoyed^^

joash left earlier cz he nds 2 do his assignments.so.byebye lo.jiayou ya joaSh!!

after singing.went 2 eat at A&W.hehe.posing~

then walked bec 2 our lovely Ridzuan~

phew~wad a tired day i had.gonna rest nw.but ther s another surprise bday party later for crystal.dun care lar.slp a while 1st.hehe
